About Egress Cost Calculator

Cloud egress pricing is tiered: the first chunk of data transferred out each month is free or discounted, and the rate decreases at higher volume thresholds. AWS, Azure, and GCP each publish their own tier boundaries and per-GB rates, and they differ significantly. This calculator applies each provider's current published tiers to your input volume and shows the resulting cost side by side.

How to use

Enter the amount of data you transfer out per month and select the unit (GB, TB, or PB). Choose the transfer type: To Internet (the most expensive), Inter-Region (between regions of the same provider), or Cross-AZ (between availability zones in the same region). The three provider cards update instantly with the total cost, a per-GB effective rate, and an expandable tier breakdown.

Pricing reflects publicly published list rates as of the date shown in the footer. AWS includes a 100 GB/month free allowance for internet egress. Azure includes a 100 GB/month free allowance. GCP includes a 1 GB/month free allowance. Cross-AZ charges apply only when traffic crosses availability zone boundaries; traffic within the same AZ is free on all three providers. A CDN tip is shown for internet transfers since CDN egress rates are typically lower than direct compute egress.
